GEBELERDE HEPATİT B ENFEKSİYONU TARAMASININ ÖNEMİ

Abstract

Dünya üzerindeki kronik hepatit olgularının %90-95’inin hastalıklarının farkında olmadığı bilinmektedir. Bu nedenle de hem kendilerindeki mevcut hastalık ilerlemekte hem de virüsü başka kişilere bulaştırmaktadırlar. Maternal HBsAg pozitif olan kadınlarda Gestasyonel Diabetis Mellitus, Gebeliğe bağlı intrahepatik kolestaz, erken doğum ve neonatal asfiksi riskleri nispeten artmaktadır .Bu sebeple HBsAg pozitif gebelerin doğumdan önce saptanması da büyük önem taşımaktadır. Ulusal yenidoğan HBV aşılamasının uygulanmaya başladığı 1998-1999 yılları arasında doğmuş olan gebelerin (20-21 yaş)ise bu dağılım tablosunda toplam olguların sadece %2.8’ini oluşturduğu, 2000-2003 doğumluların % 0.8‘ini 2004 ve sonrasında doğmuş gebelerin ise tüm HBsAg pozitif gebelerin sadece %0.5 ‘ini oluşturduğu saptanmıştır. Bu olumlu değişiklik, ulusal HBV aşılama programı sonrası olmuştur.Aşılamanın ve taramanın tüm yaş gruplarında olduğu gibi gebelerde yakın takibi önem arz etmektedir
