Gastrointestinal sistemin en sık epitelyal olmayan benign tümörü olan
lipom kolonda nadir olarak görülür. Bu yazıda karın ağrısı şikayeti olan 55
yaşında erkek hastada kolonoskopide çıkan kolonda lümeni tıkayan polipoid kitle
sunulmaktadır. Olgu yapılan histolojik incelemede submukozal lipom tanısı
almıştır.
Lipoma, the most common non-epithelial benign tumor of the gastrointestinal
tract, is rarely seen in the colon. Here, we report a case of ascending colon
lipoma in a 55 year-old patient who had abdominal pain and a polypoid mass detected
during colonoscopy, obstructing the lumen of the ascending colon The mass was
diagnosed as submucosal lipoma on histological examination.
