Abstract

Abstract

In the clinical course of rheumatic diseases, rheumatic pain is frequently seen localized to the musculoskeletal system. Rheumatic pain, which is not performed with sufficient and effective pain palliation, leads to functional impairment and decrease in quality of life. Although the treatment of rheumatic pain varies according to the cause of the underlying rheumatologic disease, it contains the mainly physical therapy, pharmacotherapy, interventional pain treatments and surgical options. Interventional pain treatments in the rheumatic pain are used in case of fail to the other non-invasive treatment options such as pharmacotherapy and physical therapy. In this article, interventional pain treatment of rheumatic pain will be focused on.
