Miyofisal Ağrı Sendromu Konulu Yayınların Analizi

Abstract

Miyofasiyal ağrı sendromu (MAS) yaygın görülen bir hastalık olup, global araştırma alanlarından biridir. Ancak henüz tedavisi ve patofizyolojisi tam olarak anlaşılamamıştır. Bu çalışmada, MAS hakkındaki bilimsel litetarürün gözden geçirilmesini amaçladık. Scopus bibliyometrik veri tabanında İngilizce dilinde tarama yapıldı. Başlık, özet ve anahtar kelimelerinde "Myofascial pain syndrome" ve "Article" anahtar kelimeleri içeren, 1955-2021 yılları arasında yapılmış orijinal araştırma makalelerine ulaşıldı. Yayınlar; yapıldıkları kurum, yazar, yayın yılı, konu, atıf sayısı ve yayınlandıkları dergi açısından değerlendirildi. Analiz sonucunda 5797 orijinal araştırma makalesine ulaşıldı. Makalelerin 4075’i (%70,29) İngilizce dilinde yazılmıştı. Amerika Birleşik Devletleri (%20,51), İspanya (%3,79) ve Brezilya (%3,01) en fazla yayının yayınlandığı ülkeler sıralamasında ilk üç ülke idi. Türkiye’den 152 makale yayınlandığı ve 1998’den sonra yayın sayısında hızlı bir artış olduğu saptandı. Tüm makalelerin 163’ü en az 100 kez atıf almıştı. En fazla atıfı alan makale 732 atıf almıştı. Makalelerin 1900’u ise hiç atıf almamıştı. Ülkemizden yazılan yayınların atıfları incelendiğinde ise; dört makalenin 100’den,12 makalenin 50’den fazla atıf aldığı, ancak 30 makalenin hiç atıf almadığı saptandı. Gerek ülkemizden gerekse global olarak yapılan MAS konulu makale ve atıf sayısının artmış olduğu saptandı. Bu alandaki araştırmaların içeriklerini analiz edecek çalışmalara ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır.
