Abstract
Özet
Biperiden santral sinir sistemi üzerine etki gösteren antikolinerjik bir ajandır. Atropin benzeri etki göstererek parkinsonizim ve ekstrapiramidal semptomların tedavisinde kullanılır. Biperiden zehirlenmelerinde antikolinerjik sendrom gelişmektedir. Fizostigmin santral etkili asetilkolinesteraz inhibitörüdür. Bu yazıda ciddi Biperiden intoksikasyonuyla başvuran hastada Fizostigmin’le olan tedavi deneyimimizi paylaşmayı amaçladık.

PHYSOSTIGMINE USE IN BIPERIDEN INTOXICATION: CASE REPORT
Abstract:
Biperiden is an anticholinergic agent that effects on central nervous system. It is used in the treatments of parkinsonism and extrapyramidal symptoms by showing Atropine -like effects. Physostigmine is a central acting cholinesterase inhibitor. In this case, we aim to share our experience with Physostigmine treatment in patient presenting with severe biperiden intoxication.
