Çölyak hastalığı'nda teşhis süresi

Year 2018, , 228 - 231, 03.12.2018
https://doi.org/10.19161/etd.417275

Abstract

Amaç: Çölyak hastalığı
(gluten duyarlı enteropati), genetik olarak duyarlı kişilerde buğday, arpa,
çavdar ve yulafın içinde bulunan glutene karşı oluşan duyarlılık reaksiyonudur.
Çölyak hastalığında klinik oldukça farklı ve değişken olabilir. Atipik
belirtilerden ötürü çoğu kez tanının akla getirilmemesi nedeniyle başka
hastalıklar düşünülerek gereksiz ve sonuç getirmeyecek araştırmalar, tedaviler
yapılır. Bu çalışmadaki amaç Çölyak Hastalığının belirtilerinin başlangıcından
teşhis konulmasına kadar geçen zamanı belirlemektir.

Gereç ve
Yöntemler:
Ankara
Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Gastroenetroloji polikliniğine başvuran, yaş
sınırı gözetmeksizin toplam 113 Çölyak hastası çalışmaya alındı. Hastalarda

Abstract

Aim: Celiac Disease
(gluten-sensitive enteropathy. is a sensitivity reaction against gluten in
genetically susceptible individuals induced by the ingestion of wheat, barley,
rye and oats. Clinics can be quite different and variable in Celiac Disease.
Because wide variety of clinical presentations, most patient considered with other
diseases and treatment. The aim of this study is to determine the interval from
the beginning of the symptoms to the time of diagnosis.

Materials
and Methods:
This study was conducted with 113 Celiac Disease patients at Ankara
Training and Research Hospital Gastroenterology Polyclinic regardless of the
age limit. The time of diagnosis, symptoms and the length of time from the
start of the symptoms to the time of diagnosis were questioned.

Results: The mean age of the
patients was 36.83 ± 14.59, the mean time from the start of symptoms to the
diagnosis was 29.1 ± 57.11 months and the length of time for diagnosis in males
and women were 22.13 ± 36.75 and 32.36 ± 64.54 months respectively.

Conclusion: The mean duration from the onset of symptoms to the time of diagnosis in
Celiac Disease is 2.5 years. Early and accurate diagnosis of the Celiac Disease
will prevent from unnecessary effort for diagnosis and provide financial gain.
