CLEAR CELL CHONDROSARCOMA (CASE REPORT)

Abstract

A case of clear cell chondrosarcoma located in the acetabulum was reported. The patient was a 39 years old woman who had right pelvic pain. Microscopic examination revealed that the tumor cells have a centrally placed vesicular nucleus with a clear cytoplasm. Because of its rarity and its frequent confusion with benign tumors as well as other more agressive osseous malign tumors, clear cell chondrosarcoma was discussed with the review of the literature.
