Emergencies during dental treatment of geriatric patients

Abstract

The life time of individuals is growing dramatically in all around the World as well as in Turkey as a result of the technological improvements. Effective communication skills are essential in the case of dental treatment of older adults. Several complications may occur during general medical treatment of geriatric patients. Same complications may also occur during dental treatment due to some systemic diseases. Several precautions should be taken to prevent the complications that occur during dental treatment.
