Abstract
In spite of the advances in the diagnosis and treatment, infectious diseases continue to be the one of the major cause of high morbidity and mortality. In the prevention of infectious diseases the most effective implementation is immunization in elderly as in all age groups. In this article immunization and its application for healthy elderly and elderly with underlying chronic diseases will be mentioned.
Abstract
Modern tıpta tanı ve tedavideki ilerlemelere karşın enfeksiyon hastalıkları günümüzde de yüksek morbidite ve mortalite nedeni olmaya devam etmektedir. Enfeksiyon hastalıklarına karşı korunmada her yaş grubu için olduğu gibi yaşlılarda da en etkili uygulama bağışıklamadır. Bu yazıda sağlıklı ve altta bazı kronik hastalığı olan yaşlılarda uygulanan aşılar ve uygulama yöntemlerinden söz edilecektir.
