Our laparoscopic urology experience at Kars State Hospital

Abstract

Aim: We aim to evaluate operative and early postoperative outcomes of laparoscopic urologic procedures performed at our secondary healthcare center. Materials and Methods: Between January 2014 and January 2015, the results of nine laparoscopic procedures were analyzed. Demographics of patients, mean operation time, estimated blood loss, drain removal time and length of hospital stay were evaluated retrospectively. Intraoperative and early postoperative complications were determined according to modified Clavien Classification System. Statistical analysis was done using with SPSS v.20 (IBM, Armonk, NY, USA) database. Results: The mean age was 45±8 years.
