Craniofacial surgeries, especially in the face
region, is considered to be complicated initiatives in terms of
anesthesiologists, given both the age of the patients and the presence of
syndromic infant and the difficulty of operation. In these patients, blood loss
in the intraoperative period may cause an increase in the need for transfusion
as well as sudden cardiac arrest. Multimodal strategies are used in this complicated
surgery to prevent blood loss and avoid unnecessary transfusions. In this case
report, we aimed to discuss the perioperative blood management in a pediatric
case who received craniofacial surgery for the second time
.

.
