CONGENITAL CYSTIC ADENOMATOID MALFORMATION ASSOCIATED WITH SOLITARY MULTILOCULAR CYST OF THE KIDNEY: CASE REPORT

Abstract

Congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation and multilocular cyst of the kidney are rare anomalies. A left renal mass was detected in our eleven month old girl patient. In the CT sections of the thorax, an unilocular thin walled cystic mass of the right lung was seen incidentally. After the resection of the two masses, the pathological examinations of the specimens revealed the diagnoses of the solitary multilocular cyst of the kidney and congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation respectively. We present our case showing the association of these two anomalies together.
