AN ECTOPIC PREGNANCY DEVELOPING İN A PREVIOUS CESERIAN SECTION SCAR : A CASE REPORT

Abstract

Extrauterine pregnancies occur 95% in the uterine tube. Cervico-isthmic implantation is a very rare condition but İt may occur at the scar tissue of a previous cesarean section. A patient complaining of lower abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding was admitted to our hospital. The diagnosis was made before an uterine rupture. Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy were performed to the patient. Ectopic pregnancy was treated preserving her fertility. Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment in such patients is life saving and helps to preserve her further fertility. With this case report we aimed to discuss the different approaches of diagnosis and treatment in such conditions.
