TUBERCULOSIS OF BREAST: US, MAMMOGRAPHIC AND MRI FINDINGS : A CASE REPORT
Abstract
Ultrasound, mammography and magnetic resonance imaging findings in a patient with tuberculosis of the breast are presented and literarure is reviewed. Tuberculous mastitis is an extremely rare disease, that can present clinically and radiologically as a carcinoma. It should be considered in the differential diagnosis of a breast lump in patients with a history of previous tuberculosis.
