APPROACHES TO THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF BENIGN ADNEXIAL MASSES

Abstract

Adnexial masses are commonly seen in gynecology practice. The management should be made according to the differentiation of the characteristics of the masses. Totaly 80 cases that the operation were performed at Ege University Faculty of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology investigated in years 2002/2003 with benign histology in this retrospective study. The aim of the study was the evaluation of the history, physical examination, transvaginal ultrasound, curettage and CA 125 levels of the patients.
