Abstract
One of the most sehous complications of typhoid fever is perforation resulting from terminal ileum inflammation. The high mortality that takes pla.ce in accordinance with these perforations can be pulled down with early diagnosis, surgical and medical treatment. İn this study, four intestinal perforated typhoid fever cases that we encountered in Ağrı Military Hospital Infectious Diseases Department on April-May 1999 were evaluated. İt is concluded that early diagnosis, suitable medical and surgical approaches together with serious intensive çare is lifesaving.

Abstract
Tifo'nun en ciddi komplikasyonlarından birisi terminal ileumun inflamasyonu sonucu gelişen barsak perforasyonudıır. Perforasyona bağlı gelişen yüksek mortalite oranları erken tanı, cerrahi ve medikal tedavi ile daha aşağı düzeylere çekilebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada Ağrı Asker Hastanesinde Nisan-Mayıs 1999 döneminde saptanan tifoya bağlı barsak perforasyonlu 4 olgu irdelenmiştir. Erken tanı. uygun tıbbi tedavi ve cerrahi girişimin hayat kurtarıcı olduğu kanaatine varılmıştır.
