PERSISTENT HYPOMAGNESEMIA AND TETANY FOLLOWING CISPLATIN CHEMOTHERAPY

Abstract

In this paper, it is presented persistent hypomagnesemia and secondary tetany in two patients with ovarian cancer who have received cisplatin chemotherapy and it is also discussed clinical presentation, causes, prophylaxis and treatment choises of cisplatin induced hypomagnesemia by the literature.
