Abstract
Pulmonary sequestration is a nonfunctional parenchyma supplied by a systemic artery and has no communication with tracheobronchial tree. It's a congenital pathology which requires surgical resection and can clinically mimic bronchiectasis, pneumonia, pyogenic lung abscess or cavitary lung diseases. In this article, a case of intralobar pulmonary sequestration has been presented, and the relevant literature has been reviewed.

Akciğer sekestrasyonu; normal trakeobronşiyal ağaçla ilişkisi olmayan, pulmoner arter yerine sistemik arterden beslenen, fonksiyone olmayan anormal parankimle karakterize; klinik olarak bronşektazi, pnömoni, akciğer absesi ya da kaviter akciğer hastalıklarını taklit edebilen, tedavisinde cerrahi rezeksiyon gerektiren konjenital bir patolojidir.
