CERCLAGE OPERATION IN THE TREATMENT OF CERVICAL INCOMPETENCY

Abstract

The purpose of this study is describe the effectiveness of cerclage operation in infertile patients with cervical incompetency. The infertile patients who attempt to Ege University Family Planning and Infertility Research & Treatment Center and had cerclage operation in their pregnancy are taken as the study group; the prognosis of this pregnancies are investigated. Cerclage operation is found as an effective method for prevention of preterm labor.
