After graduating from Ege University's Faculty of Medicine, I completed my specialist training in Anesthesiology and Reanimation at the same university in 2003. I was promoted to Associate Professor in 2012 and Professor in 2022. I have published articles in numerous national and international journals, translated books, edited book chapters, and presented papers at national and international congresses. I have also participated in various BAP projects, including the TÜBİTAK-1001 project. In addition to anesthesiology, I have participated in various courses related to intensive care and pain management. I am also an "ALS" Trainer for the European Resuscitation Association (ERC) and continue to teach in various courses.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Güler continues her work within the Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology. With many years of professional experience, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Güler has focused on various subjects within the field of neurology. Main Clinical Interests and Specializations: Cerebrovascular Diseases: She is an expert in cerebrovascular occlusion, cerebral hemorrhage, and hemorrhage related to aneurysms. She has numerous national and international studies in this field.Neurological Emergencies and Intensive Care: She is experienced in the management of neurological intensive care processes and neurological emergencies. Motor Neuron Disease: She is experienced in the monitoring and treatment arrangement for patients diagnosed with motor neuron disease.Other Areas: Her areas of expertise also include the follow-up of patients with headaches, dizziness, changes in consciousness, and epilepsy (seizures).

 Prof. Dr. Avcı is a distinguished researcher at the Department of Medical Biology, Faculty of Medicine, Ege University. With an extensive
background in biotechnology and biomedical sciences, Prof. Avcı has contributed significantly to research, focusing on technical
development and commercialization processes. Her expertise spans genetic analysis, molecular biology, advanced cell culture techniques,
3D organoid modeling, cancer biology, and therapeutic studies. She has successfully led TÜBİTAK and TÜSEB projects and has substantial
experience in international collaborations (JPND 2022) and project management. Prof. Avcı is actively involved in patent development and
innovation. Beyond research, she has a pivotal role in academic leadership, serving on various university committees, such as research
strategy, quality assurance, and continuous professional development. Her credentials include advanced certifications in clinical research
ethics, bioinformatics, and leadership. Prof. Avcı’s work reflects her commitment to advancing biomedical research and translating
scientific discoveries into impactful applications. The team led by Prof. Dr. Çığır Biray Avcı is a dynamic and multidisciplinary group of
researchers with extensive expertise in biomedical sciences. Comprising PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers, the team

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökay Özçeltik is a faculty member at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Surgical Medical Sciences, Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed both his medical education and specialty training at Ege University. His main fields of interest include urogynecology, minimally invasive surgery, and transvaginal endoscopic surgery (vNOTES).

 was born in Erzincan on September 25, 1970, the third child of Vehbi and Hatice Işıkgöz. I attended Atatürk Elementary School. I extend my sincere gratitude to my beloved teacher, Nadide Gerçek. After Cumhuriyet Middle School, I graduated from Erzincan High School in 1987. I was accepted into Erzurum Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine. I graduated in 1993. That same year, in October, I began working in the Erzincan Mother and Child Health Department. I met my husband, Mehmet Sezai Taşbakan, there. We married in 1995.

In 1998, I began my residency in the Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology at Ege University Faculty of Medicine. I became a specialist in 2003 and an associate professor in 2008. I earned the title of professor on December 25, 2014. I have two daughters, Selin Ece and Defne.

CURRICULUM VITAE
Born in Ankara, Dr. Biçeroğlu completed his primary education at Kocaeli Gebze Darıca Elementary School, his secondary education at Fevziye Mektepleri Vakfı Nişantaşı Işık High School, and his high school education at Üsküdar Science High School. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine between 1998 and 2004 and began his specialization in the Department of Neurosurgery at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2005. Between June 2010 and June 2011, he was awarded a Higher Education Council (YÖK) Doctoral Research Scholarship and appointed by the Istanbul University Presidency to work at the University of Florida McKnight Brain Institute Department of Neurosurgery in the USA. As a Microsurgical Neuroanatomy Fellow under Albert Rhoton Jr., he worked on White Matter and Nucleus Dissections and the Surgical Anatomy of Behavioral and Cognitive Neurosurgery. He completed his residency at the Department of Brain and Neurosurgery at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in February 2012 and became a Brain and Neurosurgery Specialist. Dr. Biçeroğlu, who is married and has two sons, a 14-year-old and an 8-year-old, completed his compulsory service at the Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Training and Research Hospital under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey between May 2012 and November 2013. He worked as a Specialist in the Department of Brain and Neurosurgery at Ege University Faculty of Medicine between February 2014 and April 2020. During the 4.5 years he spent at Ege University, he performed or had performed surgeries 15 nights a month, and continued to perform or have performed surgeries the following day, a busy period. His scientific background includes 16 books, 13 book chapters, 33 national and international articles, 114 national and international abstracts and posters, and 120 citations. He has received invitations as an "Invited Speech," "Session Chair," or "Course Instructor" for 45 different activities at national and international scientific congresses, meetings, and courses. Fuat Kızılay graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. He started his residency at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology in 2006 and completed it in November 2011. After working in public hospitals for 4 years, he started to work in the Department of Urology at Ege University Medical Faculty Hospital in January 2016 and received the title of associate professor in 2021. He passed the European Urology Board exam in June 2016 and received the title of FEBU (Fellow of the European Board of Urology). He is associate professor at Ege University Faculty of Medicine. He is mainly interested and competent in the fields of robotic surgery, laparoscopic surgery and urooncology. Fuat Kızılay, who has a total of 223 publications, 138 national and 85 international, has 480 citations. H-index is 11.

I am a board-certified (FEBO) ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and corneal diseases. I graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine with the highest academic honors in 2004 and completed my residency at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology, between 2004 and 2010. From 2014 to 2020, I held the position of specialist at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology, and since 2020, I have been serving as an associate professor.I possess over two decades of expertise in the domain of limbal stem cell transplantation science, having contributed to over 20 research projects and published over 200 scientific articles in various journals. In 2021, I established the ocular surface research laboratory at Ege University, and I am the co-founder of the biotechnology spin-off LIMBUSTEM, which was established in 2020 to develop a personalized cellular therapy product for limbal stem cell deficiency. As of 2025, I have been working as the director of Ege University Cord Blood, Cell, Tissue Application and Research Center.
