Abstract
In this study, a wide variety of primary antibodies were applied on 64 cytological materials taken from 60 patients in order to investigate the effectiveness of immunocytochemical application in the problematic cases regarding diagnosis and effects of the technique on results. The results of this study showed that immunocytochemical findings were compatible with immunohistochemical findings and have aided to cytologic diagnosis. In addition it has been proven that application of immunocytochemistry to decolorised slides has apparently no constructive effect on staining.
Abstract
Bu araştırmada immunositokimyasal uygulamanın tanısal güçlük yaşanan olgulardaki etkinliğini ve bu yönde uygulanan tekniklerin sonuçlar üzerine olan etkisini incelemek amacıyla 60 olguya ait 64 sitolojik materyale çeşitli primer antikorlardan oluşan immunositokimyasal boyamalar yapıldı. Çalışmanın sonucunda immunositokimyasal bulguların immunhistokimyasal bulgularla uyumlu olduğu ve sitolojik tanıya katkısı olduğu saptandı Ayrıca yöntemin dekolorize preparatlara uygulanmasının birçok olguda immunositokimyasal sonuçlara olumsuz etkisinin olmadığı görüldü.
