Abstract
Mature cystic teratoma is the most common type of ovarian teratomas and also most frequent tumor originating from germ celis. Malignant transformation is an uncomon complication of mature cystic teratoma. İt occurs in approximately %1-2 of cases. Any of the tissues present in a mature cystic teratoma may undergo malignant transformation. I/Ve presented a 71-year-old woman who has undergone malignant transformation of the mature cystic teratoma that arase in the right ovary and we revvieved the literatüre concerning this case.
Abstract
Matür kistik teratom, över teratomlarının en sık olanıdır ve aynı zamanda germ hücrelerinden en sık köken alan tümördür. Malign değişim matür kistik teratomların alışılmadık bir komplikasyonudur. Olguların %1-2'sinde görülür. Matür kistik teratomda bulunan dokulardan herhangi bir malign değişim gösterebilir. Burada sağ över yerleşimli, matür kistik teratomda tiroid papiller karsinom gelişimi gösteren 71 yaşında kadın hastayı sunduk ve bu konuda literatür bilgilerini yeniden gözden geçirdik.
